Most Popular Choice
Vtopmart 20 Oscillating Multitool Quick Release Saw Blades
When a product becomes a popular choice within the buyers and users, we all start to count as a quality option. It’s not a good practice always. You should not consider and acknowledge a product quite reliable until the product retains its popularity for a long time. Fortunately, the Vtopmart 20 Oscillating Tool Blades has fulfilled the criteria and become the most popular choice of buyers, with a higher volume of satisfactory user responses.
It comes with a total of 20 blades in five types, however, there is a 15-blades unit too. Each of those blades come up with a specialty, including shaping, grinding, sanding, or cutting metal, plastic, wood, and other materials. You can use those for any purpose at home, workshops, construction sites, and other places.
Strong steel-alloy and dense carbon-steel made blades are durable enough to offer you a long service. Thick gauge materials are always preferable when it comes to dealing with professional purposes.
Specially-designed saw blades with long wavy teeth offer faster, smoother, and cleaner cuts, especially in plastic and wood. Built-in markers on both sides make sure precision cutting.
The most significant part of Vtopmart 20 is its compatibility with most of the multi-tools, including, but not limited to, Fein Multimaster, Dewalt, Milwaukee, Hitachi, Ryobi, Rockwell, Makita, Black & Decker, Craftsman, and Chicago.
Unfortunately, it does not fit with most of Dremel tools and a few of Bosch, more particularly Dremel Multi-Max 6300, Dremel MM40, MM45, and Bosch MX30. Other than some common complaints from a small portion of users, it is an excellent product overall. So far we’ve observed, it is worth the money, and we must say users don’t make mistakes most of the time!
Ryker Hardware 15 Professional Oscillating Multi Tool Quick Release Saw Blades
You have got the basics of the Ryker Hardware 15 Wood/Metal Professional Oscillating Saw Blades at the very beginning of this article.
Being the best choice on our list, indeed, some other things have made the unit unique. Let's see what they are?
Construction- Material and Strength
The essential material is thicker-gauge and high-carbon steel, which is stiffer than most of the other materials yet smooth to operate.
The welds are far sturdier that guarantees to resist breakage. The Ryker Hardware Oscillating bi-metal blades, especially the 10-piece bi-metal tool set, are more robust and cut cleanly through almost everything like dense hardwoods, plastic, fiberglass, or galvanized metals.
Each of the 3.5 inches diameter semi-circular saws with elevated arbor ensures cutting precision. A precision flush cut is as simple as it can be with the help of the built-in markers (inches on one side, centimeters on the other). You will love to see it when its cut, it’s beautiful!
One of the most useful features of this toolset is the compatibility.
The 15-piece unit fits with most available options like Craftsman, Black & Decker, Chicago Electric, Bosch, Ryobi, Genesis, Mastercraft, Milwaukee, Harbor Freight, Ridgid, Craftsman, Fein Multimaster, and Rockwell Hyperlock. It’s compatible with Porter Cable, Dewalt, and Dremel Multi Max.
When using it with the Dremel Multi Max 40/45, the C-Clip adapter is recommended.
However, some other units fit with some other additional issue as they come in more compatibility options like the second best choice of our list (20 pieces). But, considering all other matters, the Ryker Hardware 15 is our top pick. It’s one of the best oscillating tool blades for cutting metal.
When you have a chance to get multiple tools at an affordable price range, is it wise to spend $10 to $15 per separate blade for different brands of operating units?
This tool set comes with three larger bi-metal semi-circular blades with steel arbor, which are compatible with many other oscillating tool operating machines. So, this is a super value providing oscillating multi-toolset.
When we are writing this review, it has been the ‘number one bestseller’ in most of the trusted web retailers. Users have expressed their overwhelming satisfaction after using the toolset. Hundreds of user feedbacks (more than 85% are highly positive) show the user satisfaction standard.
Recommendation on Negatives
Although the manufacturer has claimed that you can fit it with the Dewalt, we recommend you to be very technical and careful in this specific fact. There are some complaints concerning this issue.Some users faced complications while using it with the Dremel. So, be very pointy to use the C-Clip adapter in this regard. It has been claimed by a few users to be made of cheap steel. We acknowledge it is thin, but eventually not less-strong.
Ryker Hardware 15 is one of the ultimate choices for fulfilling almost every demand (what can be performed by an oscillating tool blade) of the users. So, you can depend on the excellent unit without thinking much.
Integra 20 Oscillating Multi Tool Quick Release Saw Blades
Integra is a well-trusted tool manufacturing company all around the world.
20 Oscillating Multi Tool Saw Blades, our second best option, comes from them. The Platinum series blade set is one of the most popular and top-sold blade sets amongst the available options.
It has 5 more blades in the box compared to the first blade set, making it a prominent multi-tool blade set.
As said earlier, Integra Platinum 20 has been forced out at second position because we could give the first place to one product only. So you can consider it an identical replacement of the Ryker 15, our first choice.
However, Why is Platinum 20 so popular? We discuss the excellence of this unit hereinbelow.
Construction- Material and Strength
Platinum 20 Blades are made of high carbon-dense steel material. They are strong and durable, however, concerning hard-metal cutting, one step down to Ryker 15 blades, the first selection of the list.
You can use them for cutting anything like wood, fiberglass, plastic, mid-hard metal, etc. The structure is breakage-resistant so far we inspected (except the case where it’s used through the hardest metals).
Quick Release Feature
It has a quick-release feature that meets most release systems, including the Hex Screw system, which is pretty old and a useful feature. We see the Ryker Hardware 15 has the same function, but the manufacturer didn’t say about the compatibility with the old Hex Screw system like this one.
Added Oscillating Blades
It includes the following oscillating blades (20 in total)-
- 3 Pieces 1-3/4-Inch Bi-Metal "Nail-Eater";
- 3 Pieces 1-3/8-Inch Bi-Metal "Nail-Eater";
- 3 Pieces 1-3/4-Inch Wood/Plastic/Soft-Metal;
- 4 Pieces 1-3/8-Inch Wood/Plastic/Soft-Metal;
- 3 Pieces 1-3/4-Inch Precision Japan Tooth;
- 4 Pieces 1-3/8-Inch Precision Japan Tooth;
Compatibility and Incompatibility
It’s compatible with more brands and units than the number one selection.
The good thing is- the manufacturer has stated the names with which the blades aren’t compatible.
It’s compatible with almost all brands and models except the Bosch MX30, Dremel MM40 & MM45, Fein SuperCut, Worx, Fein Starlock, and Rockwell Bolt On. It has been familiar as a contractors’ pack oscillating toolset, a brilliant professional selection of top blades used for construction sites job duties.
To date, it has been sold more than the first selection. Interestingly, both have received pretty much identical responses from the users. Integra 20 is a much-sold, well-appreciated, and recommended set of tool blades as such the Ryker 15.
It’s probably one of the most affordable sets of multi-tool blades. Compared to other cheap multi-tool blades, it includes more blade accessories, 20 pieces of cutting blades in a single bulk.
Recommendation on Negatives
As said already, this is not the right choice for harder metal (as per user experience and our analysis).
Someone might say - that our claim isn’t right.
We don’t say anything in counter because we think the case might be different sometimes.
One of the most common complaints against the unit is the inconsistency of the blades, where the manufacturer must pay attention. Some users have complained that the description of the product didn’t match with reality.
Other than the issues mentioned above, you will be delighted with the unit. They are less-priced than the first tool blade set. So, you can give a try.
DEWALT DWA4214 Oscillating Multi Material Blade
The DEWALT DWA4214 Multi-Material Oscillating Blade, 3rd best in our list, is a different one compared to the first two. Each of the first two is a set comprises of several blades, but DEWALT DWA4214 is a single unit.
A good number of people want the best-quality single oscillating tool blade instead of a set or package.
You can purchase it at a lower price. The unit superbly performs as certified by the users and experts. For detail, you may check the following Dewalt oscillating tool review.
Construction – Material and Strength
It’s a 5-½ -inch by 5-½ inch blade made from strong and long-lasting steel. You can use it for cutting most of the materials due to the decent strength level. The blade teeth are breakage-resistant. This multi-material blade is ideal for roofers who conventionally use a utility knife.
Like other Dewalt oscillating tool blades, the DWA4214 is designed for using it on all the major brands of oscillating tools. And, it won’t require any additional adapter to do this. To ensure the multi-compatibility, the manufacturer has designed by following the Universal Fitment standard.
Concerning cutting precision, this is not lagging behind even a bit from the first two sets of blades.
Moreover, it can cut almost all type of material including asphalt, linoleum, plastic, shingles, cardboard, carpet, and foam insulation. As the users use it mainly for roofing tasks, so to cut steel isn’t one of its best-performing objects. But, whatever it cuts, it does precisely and efficiently.
The manufacturer provides a 1-year warranty with most of the Dewalt oscillating tool blades. You can get excellent after-sales service as per their said rules and policy on these.
Recommendation on Negatives
One thing you need to keep in mind that the blade is a bit more flexible and it might be hard to cut in a straight line. So, you have to be careful while doing the task. The manufacturer claimed it as a competent choice for cutting the carpet, but we don’t think it is the right one for carpet cutting, although you may try.
The DEWALT DWA4214 is a favorite tool for the drivers since of its standalone impact. Highly recommended for roofers who conventionally use the utility knife.
DEWALT DWA4216 5-Piece Oscillating Accessory Kit
Before going to detail analysis about the Dewalt Accessory Kit DWA4216, we want to make it clear that we could have enlisted it as the 3rd best, 2nd best, or even the best choice in our list.
It has every quality to be the best selection.
Do you know why we didn’t do that? Do you know why we have placed them as the 4th best selection? Let’s make it clear here in this Dewalt oscillating tool review.
It comes with 5 pieces of oscillating blades, which is far less than the number of first two (15 pieces and 20 pieces gradually).
The DWA4214 is the best one in this regard as per our consideration. We placed the DEWALT DWA4216 at fourth on our list as there was no place we could provide except this position.
However, like other Dewalt oscillating tool blades, the DWA4216 blade set comprises of 5 different blades. They are designed to be used on all the major brands of oscillating tools.
And, it won’t require any additional adapter to do this. To ensure the multi-compatibility, the manufacturer has designed by following the Universal Fitment standard.

Buying Guide - How to Choose the Best Oscillating Tool Blades?
Before choosing or buying the multi saw blades or other oscillating tool accessories, you should consider the following things-
Type of Work and Material
Before going to purchase a blade or other oscillating tool attachments, you should think about the type or types of work you want to be served by the blades. What sort of material do you want to cut or process by the tool blades?
Find out the answer very clearly and decide accordingly.
An oscillating tool blade for tile will not be functional as an oscillating tool blade for cutting metal. If you need an oscillating tool blade for Grout Removal, then you shouldn’t go for a sawing blade.
If you find the right blade for your work, start to consider the compatibility. Some models are made for some specific oscillating multi-tools. Therefore, you can not use it with other tools. Check out whether it’s compatible with your oscillating tool.
The design of an oscillating tool blade determines whether it slips at the time of working with it. You should select a design that doesn’t slip at different angles.
The budget is always a vital issue in any respect.
While thinking about purchasing a oscillating multi tool blades, you should pick the best one. It doesn’t mean to be high-quality a blade needs to be expensive.
The best oscillating multi tool blades might be cheap sometime yet perform like an impressive selection.
Types of Oscillating Tool Blades
The oscillating multi-tools can be used for distinctive matters.
But, the best thing is its capacity to transform any object into something else just within minutes.
It can be done by cutting, sanding, polishing, sawing, scraping etc.
Depending on the way of working, we figure out the types of oscillating tool blades.
The key types are -
- Cutting- One of the most popular functions of an oscillating tool blade is to cut the materials. Different types of blades are used for differ types of materials (soft, hard, wood, metal etc.). They are called cutting blades.
- Sanding- Another type of blade is called sanding blade which is used for smoothing the cutting tasks. It makes the tasks of any multi-tool oscillator effortless.
- Sawing- Another type of blade is called sanding blade, which is used for smoothing the cutting tasks. It makes the tasks of any multi-tool oscillator effortless.
- Polishing- It’s another type. The fleece or felt polishing pad blades work great for putting the ending touch on the project.
- Scraping- This blade is used to remove any material from a surface. Depending on the type of material (soft or firm), the scraping blades are made. You can pick the scraping tool blade according to the works- home remodeling, construction, repairs etc.
- Rasping- The rasping multi-tools blade is made especially for rough surfaces like concrete and/or wood. It’s mainly of three shapes: finger, round, and triangular.
- Grout Removal- Best grout removal oscillating blades comes in two different forms - diamond-edged blades and carbide edged blades. A grout removal blade is mainly used for multi purposes. Carbide edge one is used for cutting soft materials, and diamond edge one for cutting the hardest materials.
Are Oscillating Tool Blades Universal?
Currently, most of the branded oscillating tool blades follow the Universal Fitment Standard except for a few. That means most of the blades are universal in general. They fit with most oscillating tools and serve different purposes.
Are Oscillating Tool Blades Interchangeable?
Multi-tool oscillating tools are often called jack-of-all-trades! You know why, if you are a construction professional or do-it-yourselfer. If you do not know yet, read it, because of multi-blades holding capacity, which can be interchanged when necessary, they are capable of performing a variety of tasks, and for this multi-tasking capacity around different working sites and home, they are called so.
As said, their blades are interchangeable and competent to serve multi-purposes in most cases but a few. If any blade is not interchangeable, and you need to use that, you should get an adapter suitable to that blade and brand.
How To Change an Oscillating Tool Blade?
An oscillating tool can perform for different purposes, including, but not limited to, cutting, shaping, sanding, grout removing, and grinding. But you have to use different blades for different purposes, which means you need to change the blades when necessary. Removing a blade and install another one is not very hard. You can do it by using an Allen wrench only, and most of the manufacturers provide that with the oscillating tool when you buy.
While changing, take the wrench and remove the bolt located at the bottom of the blade. An adapter might also be there, so careful if it does not fall when removing the bolt. Take away the blade once the bolt is removed.
Get another blade for your upcoming purpose and place it on the tool along with the lined-up adapter (if the blade is not compatible with the tool). Use the wrench again and tighten the bolt as much required. Check if the angle of the blade is okay for accurate performance. And, that’s all about the way of changing a tool blade.
How to Sharpen Oscillating Tool Blades?
Oscillating tool blades lose their sharpness over the use. You might consider buying new blades, but sharpening may bring those back into an entirely usable condition as like as new blades. Sharpening allows users to use those blades for a long time. Though sharpening oscillating blades differs from sharpening other blades, it is not a big deal if you know how to do it, and what is necessary to do the job.
Either you may use multi-tool blade sharpeners or saw blade sharpeners for fast and smooth sharpening. But buying the sharpeners would cost you a bit more. Instead, you may consider any of the two methods - (i) wet grinding, and (ii) manual sharpening.
What you need for the first method is an abrasive wheel (fine grit diamond) installed on an automatic grinder. When the wheel runs, place the sharpless tooth of blades on it and get it sharpened like a new one. On the other hand, users might follow some of the conventional manual steps to sharpen their blades one after one.
The tiresome analysis has come to an end. We do not have much to say.
We believe whole analysis is good enough to direct you getting the best oscillating multi tool blades.
The choice is yours. Pick the best one that suits best for your purposes. Never forget to judge and decide analytically.
Hope for the best.
